Székelyudvarhely is the second biggest town of Hargita County, the late mother town of Udvarhelyszék and Udvarhely county-hall headquarter.
The ‘Korona Hostel’ lies in the center of Szekelyudvarhely and is its oldest, listed building.
There is a quiet yard, with nicely furnished rooms and shower stalls in the bathrooms, minibars, telephones and a TV, with space for 19 in in 6 rooms with twin beds, 1 room with three beds and one suite.
The ’Csendes Bükk 1’ and ‘Csendes Bükk 2’ guesthouses are located 16 miles away from Székelyudvarhely, in the quiet countryside of the municipality of Ivó, on the panoramic plateau of the Hargita mountain range and at the foothills of Madarasi Hargita (Madarasi Hargita ski slopes 11 km).
The ‘Csendes Bükk 1’ guesthouse was built in 2016.
While the land is easily accessible, it is in a calm and private location, in close proximity to the Madarasi Hargita turn-off. It offers exceptional panoramic views of the `Szekler’s Saint Mountain’, towards the Madarasi Hargita, which is 1801 m high and lies in the heart of the Hargita mountain range. Other fantastic views include the Ivó’s valley and the Hegyes Mountain, located in the Gurghiu Mountains. The estate and its comfortable accommodating guesthouse is perfect for either quiet relaxation or family get-togethers.
